Illustrator CS4 Gradient

In this post I will show a new feature of Illustrator that is very important and that was missing, I hope I can help you.

Firstly before you start using gradient (deterioration), we open the gradient panel to do this you use the shortcut "CTRL + F9" or if you prefer to use the path - Window> Gradient – and will open the panel gradient, in the figure below is a representation of the panel;

In the gradient panel has all the functions you need to create beautiful effects of deterioration,

 

The new feature of the gradient that was not in earlier versions, is to give you the opportunity to gradients with transparency,

In order to apply the opacity in your gradient you click the color palette you want to take the opacity and click and you can leave any value on a scale from 0 to 100,

You can save time in gradients instead of being re doing and the combinations you can save your gradient to save just click the gradient tab and click on the floppy as the image below;

 The palette of colors for you to change the color palette is just two clicks to the same and then open a window of colors which you can choose to your liking, you add blades just clicking next to the other palettes that will appear a new palette you can add as many palettes you want, to remove just click the palette and pull down handle;


 
The tool type, there are two options linear and radial option, below are a representation of each;
